Setting Up Your Birth Chart
MAX builds your readings from your birth details, so it helps to get them right. You'll enter:
Your birth date
Your birth time (as exact as you can — it affects your houses and rising sign)
Your birth location
You can review or update these any time on your chart page at max.greatawakener.com/chart.
I Don't Know My Birth Time
No problem — we recommend entering 6:00 AM (sunrise) so MAX can still build you a full chart. Your planetary positions, signs, and major aspects will be accurate; your Rising sign and house placements will be approximate until you confirm your exact time.
If you find your real birth time later (a birth certificate is the most reliable source), update it on your chart page and everything recalculates automatically.
Choosing Your Birth City
When you type your birth city, choose the match from the dropdown that appears rather than typing it freehand.
If you have a smaller town and aren't sure you've picked the right one — or the state or province isn't shown next to the city name — try typing the city together with a nearby larger city or the country to narrow it down. If your exact town still doesn't appear, choosing the closest nearby city will give you an accurate chart, since the coordinates are nearly identical.
If you can't find a usable match for your birthplace at all, email [email protected] with your birth city and we'll help you set it correctly.
Fixing Birth Details You Entered Wrong
If you entered the wrong name, birth time, or location, you can correct it:
Go to max.greatawakener.com/chart
Update the detail that's incorrect and re-save
Your chart will recalculate with the corrected information
If a correction doesn't seem to take effect, log out and back in, then check the chart page again.
My Chart Settings or Preferences Won't Save
If a change you made doesn't seem to stick:
Make sure you tapped Save after making the change
Log out and back in, then check again — this refreshes your account
Try a different browser or device
Note that some chart preferences, such as the Placidus house system, are available with Oracle Unlimited — see the section below. If a setting still won't save after trying these steps, email [email protected] and we'll look into it.
House Systems & Chart Preferences
MAX uses the Whole Sign house system by default for all members. Additional house systems, including Placidus, are available with Oracle Unlimited.
If you've selected Placidus and it doesn't seem to apply, it's likely because your current plan uses Whole Sign — Oracle Unlimited unlocks the additional systems. To explore Placidus and more, see Oracle Unlimited at greatawakener.com.
Printing or Saving Your Chart
To keep a copy of your chart, open your chart page and use your browser's print option (File > Print, or Ctrl/Cmd + P), then choose "Save as PDF" to download it or send it to your printer.
My Chart Won't Load
If your chart is slow to load or doesn't appear:
Give it a moment — generating a full chart can take a few seconds
Refresh the page, or try a different browser
Make sure all your birth details are filled in, since a missing field can stop the chart from building
