These are four different things, and they do different amounts. Here is each one, so you can pick the one you actually want.
Which One Do I Want?
Hide one conversation: delete a chat
Wipe everything MAX knows about you, but keep your membership: erase my data
Close your account and remove everything: delete your account
Stop being charged, but keep everything: cancel your subscription
1. Delete a Chat
Find the chat in your sidebar and tap the bin icon. You'll see Chat deleted with an Undo button.
This only hides the chat. It disappears from your list and you can bring it back with Undo, or by emailing [email protected]. It is not erased. To remove your conversations for good, use Erase my data below.
2. Erase My Data (MAX)
On maxoracle.ai, tap your profile icon and open Account (maxoracle.ai/account), then scroll to Security and tap Erase my data. You'll be asked to confirm.
What is removed:
Every conversation, including the ones you haven't opened in a while
Files you attached to chats
Your birth date, time and place, your chart, and everyone you have added
What stays: your account and your plan, exactly as they are. You are not signed out and you are not cancelled.
This can't be undone. Because your birth details are removed too, you'll need to enter them again before MAX can read your chart. The conversations stop appearing anywhere in the app; if you need them purged from our systems entirely, email [email protected] and ask.
Want your conversations gone but your birth chart kept? Email [email protected] and we'll send you a private link that erases only your conversations.
3. Delete Your Account
Go to greatawakener.com/profile/delete-account and sign in. You'll be asked why you're leaving, then to type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm. Nothing happens until you type it. You don't need to ask us first.
When it happens:
No paid membership: your account is erased right away.
Paid membership: your paid time is yours. Your membership is cancelled so you won't be charged again, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your account is erased on that date. Until then nothing has been deleted, and if you change your mind you can email [email protected] and we can stop it.
What is deleted for good: your profile, MAX chats, birth chart, and activity.
What stays: your community posts remain but no longer show your name, so conversations other members are part of aren't broken up. Invoices and payment records are kept as the law requires, no longer linked to you.
Once the account is erased, it can't be recovered.

4. Cancel Your Subscription
If you only want to stop being charged, go to greatawakener.com/subscription. You keep your account, your chart, and everything you've written, and your access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
